Yesterday Barbara Bush Jr was robbed.
Thieves beat security to rob Bush's daughter
First Daughter Barbara Bush had her purse and cell phone stolen as she had dinner in a restaurant in Buenos Aires, Argentina, even though she was being guarded by a detail of Secret Service agents, according to law enforcement reports made available to ABC News.
It's ironic is that the thief was probably unemployed, or at least in-between jobs, just like Barbara.
I'm not condoning stealing, and if the mugger gets caught he should be punished appropriately. But let's remember that what separates most of us from a life on the street is genetic circumstance. Did you ever chose your parents, country or IQ?
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. In your prayers tomorrow I suggest you add two people: The thief who probably has a rougher life than any of us will ever know, and the Secret Service agent who was guarding Barbara.
I'll bet he's wondering if he'll even have a job by the end of the week.
