Organizing a ward. (live-blogging)

Paul -V-'s picture

This is a session with Lewis Harris, a political consultant, who is teaching Greens how to organize wards.

This session is running from 10:30 EST - 12:00 EST - If you have questions while I'm here, ask them in the comments sections and I will ask Mr. Harris in real-time and answer them.

10:40 EST: Harris introduced himself. He's very no-nonscence, he's used to be a Republican organiser. Go figure.

10:45 EST: The Greens in this room aren't quite sure what a "ward" is. So now he's now defining terms now.

11:55 EST: Drat. I lost internet access for the last hour. :( Most of the notes I took got lost when this laptop crashed. To summerise: Wards are people. Develop relationships. A ward leader is only as stong as the relationships s/he develops in the community.

12:00 EST: Session is over.

The next session will be about how Greens plan to improve public transit.
