Globalization Version of Niemoller's Poem
Niemoller's poem updated for globalization.
When conservatives would belittle the importance of Labor Unions I did not speak out - because I wasn't in a Labor Union.
When corporations used H1-B visas to crush tech sector wages I was not concerned - because I did not work in the tech sector.
When Wal-Mart destroyed the mom-and-pop businesses and downtown district I did not boycott - because I lived in a subdivision.
Then my company sent my job to India - by that time there was no middle-class left to care.
